The Southern Ladies Arm Wrestling League is about celebrating every kind of strength, together.
Southern Ladies Arm Wrestling league is a social event built around a fun, casual arm wrestling. The Southern Ladies Arm Wrestling league welcomes all female/femme identifying individuals to compete. Individuals of any gender expression are welcome to attend and cheer our competitors along! We are not professionally affiliated with any sanctioned competitive wrestling league, nor do we have any intention to be. We expect participants to conduct themselves in a respectful way and do their best to maintain their safety and the safety of other wrestlers at all times.
By signing up to wrestle in this event, you understand that you are participating in an amateur event. Reduce risk of injury by keeping your arm in line with your shoulder and perpendicular to your body. If you’re in a good position, you should be able to look straight ahead at your arm, without twisting your head. But remember, most importantly you know your body best! Do not push yourself past your point of comfort. It just ain’t worth it y’all.
When you arrive at the event, please check-in at the front. For those of you who are new members or have purchased 2020 tees, they will be available for pick-up! Mix, mingle, meet and greet, have a beer, but keep your wits about you so you can compete. Anyone who appears impaired at the time of competition will be DQ'd and refunded any entry free.
Absolutely no hateful speech or actions will be tolerated. The organizer of this event reserves the right to eject any person from this event who violates this policy. The goal is to have fun in a supportive, exciting environment. We are here to celebrate every loss just as much as every win. That’s what it’s all about folks!
